Maud Creek Country Lodge
Maud Creek Country Lodge is a unique AAA 4-star rated property situated on the banks of the Katherine River. Classed by many as peaceful rural retreat, our guests enjoy the peace and quiet of country living with the sounds of nature close at hand.
Wildlife is abundant around the property with many species of birds and the local populations of 'Agile Wallabies' keeping you company throughout the day.
Our part of the world is a 90 hectare property which was the original site of the homestead on Maud Creek Station.
About a hectare of land as been planted out with attractive tropical gardens incoporating a swimming pool, BBQ facilities and huge old mahogany trees for shade on the warmer days.

Rates are quoted in Australian Dollars and are valid from April 2007 to October 2005.

We accept Diners, Mastercard, Visa and AMEX. Due to the wet-season, we generally close from November to March each year.

Continental breakfast is included in the tariff and ingredients are provided for you to help yourself at your convenience.

Smoking is not permitted inside rooms.

Katherine has a variety of dining options. The closest to Maud Creek is the Gorge Bistro, which is fully licenced and just 5 minutes drive. Kumbidgee Lodge Tearooms (BYO) is a delightful cafe style restaurant, 12 kms back towards Katherine.
If you wish to cook your own evening meals, our kitchens are fully equipped or you can enjoy the barbeque outdoors.

The Cottage has a queen sized bedroom plus 2 singles and a trundle bed in the living area.

The open plan kitchen is fully-equipped with a dining suite, and opens into the lounge with TV and DVD/VCR.
The Cottage is fully airconditioned and has ceiling fans.

The twin interconnects with one of the queen rooms, making it ideal

and have ceiling fans.
Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet. Each room is equipped with a minibar and tea and coffee making facilities
All rooms open on to a shady and inviting verandah overlooking lush
tropical gardens.
Guests share the facilities of a fully euqipped kitchen, with dining
room and TV with VCR and DVD.
